History

1953 Founded in Kobe City as Kansai Television Research Institute Ltd.
1956 Established Kansai Television Industries Co., Ltd. and opened sales offices in Osaka and other locations.
1966 Changed the company name to DX Antenna Co., Ltd. and established a brand with a new design.
1978 Succeeded in clearly receiving signals using Japan's first experimental SHF broadcasting satellite receiver.
1984 Indoor antenna SK-11 won the "Good Design Small and Medium Enterprise Product Award".
1989 Completed expansion of the new DX head office building.
1990 After receiving a license from the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, we began operating a satellite earth station.
1993 Achieved cumulative sales of 1 million BS antennas.
1996 At the start of CS digital broadcasting, we developed digital compatible equipment ahead of other companies.
2001 Formed a partnership with Funai Electric Co., Ltd. to strengthen the business foundation.
2002 Through an alliance business with Funai Electric Co., Ltd., we entered the AV/home appliance market under the new DX BROADTEC brand.
2003 In conjunction with the start of terrestrial digital broadcasting services in the three major metropolitan areas, we commercialized new UHF full-band antennas ''Digihat'' and ''DigiKite.''
2006 More than 200 models have been approved by the European Parliament and are compliant with the RoHS Directive for manufacturing environmentally friendly products.
2008 ECO mark established. We display our unique ''ECO mark'' on products that meet our standards and begin shipping them as contributing to global environmental conservation measures.
2009 Announced a millimeter wave transmission system that wirelessly transmits high-definition broadcasting signals with high quality.
Launched a flat antenna for terrestrial digital broadcasting that combines beauty and high performance.
2011 The gap filler system with disaster response function was awarded the 2nd Grand Prix in the ''Security and Safety Network Category'' at CEATEC AWARD 2011.
2012 We launched the ''Hi-Vision Monitoring System'' as the first product of our new brand ''DX Delcatec'' in the communications and security field.
Opened Seishin Technology Center, a center for development, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
2013 Opened one of the largest anechoic chambers in Japan within the Seishin Technology Center.
2017 Due to stock transfer, the parent company changed from Funai Electric Co., Ltd. to ELECOM Co., Ltd.
2019 Head office office moved to Seishin Technology Center.
2021 Entered the camera business by selling network camera systems, coaxial cameras, wireless cameras, etc.
2023 Collaboration with ELECOM Co., Ltd. and Sakura Internet Co., Ltd. to launch cloud recording service "Antenna-eye"
2026 The sales function of DX Antenna Co., Ltd. was integrated into the sales department of ELECOM Co., Ltd. to strengthen the sales system.
DX Antenna Co., Ltd. and Nippon Antenna Co., Ltd. merged their businesses and launched a new company, ''Japan DX Antenna Co., Ltd.''.
